About (EN)

Who am I?

A twenty-one-year-old Japanology student. I have a strong appreciation of almost anything that combines the qualities of being modern in the technological sense, and the international and cultural aspects of life. And also food, of course.

This is where I post about student life and trips I make, while sharing some pictures I take in the process. You can expect posts about Japan (what I study), Belgium (where I live) and many other things, usually in English or in Dutch.

About the title

Naisu (ナイス) is derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the English word “nice”. In Japanese, it’s written in katakana, one of the two Japanese syllabaries.
